The Hoyalog
Which scans the frame and sends the details straight to Hoya’s lab. If you are using your own frames this allows you to continue to wear your glasses until the new lenses are ready, when we will swap the old for the new in store

Single Vision
Single-vision lenses have a single prescription power over the whole lens that corrects your vision for one specific use, be it near (reading/crafts), distance (TV/driving) or intermediate (computer).
Bifocal
Bifocal lenses combine two different corrective powers into one lens, typically for distance (main body of lens) and near vision (reading segment). A visible line can be seen.
Workstyle
Occupational lenses are designed for indoor use, with a wider field of vision and shorter viewing distances (1m & 4m). A tailored solution for the demands of working people, helping to reduce eye strain.
Varifocal
The power of the lens changes gradually from the top (distance vision) to the bottom (near vision), with intermediate vision in the middle. There are no visible lines.
Myopia
We use Hoya Miyosmart lenses which corrects their vision now and can help slow the progression of myopia and preserve their vision and eye health for the future.
Photochromic
Lense that darken with ultraviolet (UV) light, they transition from clear to a dark sunglasses tint when exposed to sunlight and back to clear indoors. Also known as Transitions and Reactor light.
Anti-scratch
Is a protective coating applied to the surface, to help reduce scratches and scuffs incurred with everyday use. Please be aware this is not an anti-scratch proof coating.
Drivesafe
Specifically designed to provide better vision in low-light conditions for safer and more comfortable driving. They help reduce glare at night from oncoming cars or streetlights and optimise the different viewing zones, helping to make it easier to quickly refocus between the road, dashboard and mirrors.
Blue Light
Is designed to filter out blue light emitted from digital devices (computers, tablets & smartphones). Blue light can cause eye strain, fatigue and may affect some peoples sleep patterns. Blue control lenses aim to reduce the amount of blue light reaching the eyes, reducing the effects. you want. It could be details or some information about your service.
